TRAINING TESTIMONIALS

I was able to follow a high-quality theoretical and practical training, organized with the necessary flexibility to guarantee the respect of the training program. ECAIR Aviation’s management and instructor team, made up of very experienced pilots, all from civil and military backgrounds, is a major asset. In addition to the concepts specific to Advanced UPRT, it is the reality of flight conditions that is taught and that I will encounter, perhaps one day, during my future career.
Denis, CPL/IR/ME – Aeronautical engineer

Denis, CPL/IR/ME – Ingénieur secteur aéronautique

OUR MISSIONS

The European Center for Advanced Inflight Recovery (ECAIR) is the first European center for pilot skills development and research relating to aircraft upset prevention and recovery (UPRT) as well as loss of control in flight (LOC-I).

While simulators effectively teach pilots to fly within the normal flight envelope, retraining is required in relation to upset prevention and recovery from unexpected situations.

ECAIR’s courses enhance a pilot’s situational awareness and airmanship by teaching them how to recognize, avoid and if necessary recover from potentially catastrophic situations. We are already compliant with the new EASA ED-D 2015/12/R (Executive Director Decision) and with the rule making process (RMP) regarding LOC-I(RMT.0581&. 0582).

ECAIR instructors are highly experienced pilots in flight envelope exploration and upset recoveries. They are experimental test pilots with aeronautical engineering degrees or airline pilots with fighter pilot background.

TBM 850/900

This turboprop aircraft, the fastest in its class ( TAS 320kts to FL 260), can be used for training sequence at high altitude at FL 300. With modern avionics in the cockpit (full glass Garmin 1000 cockpit) it creates a similar environment to larger airliners.
It will give pilots the opportunity to fly and maneuver manually at various altitudes and especially at high altitude above FL250. This allows pilots to better analyse and identify the different aerodynamic behaviours of their aircraft at low, medium and high altitude.

VARIABLE STABILITY LEARJET

ON REQUEST with our partner Calspan
This jet is unique in its kind because it can simulate, on the same flight, the flight control laws of 15 different types of aircraft.
It can therefore reproduce all the real problems experienced by aircraft during accidents. This aircraft, mainly used for flight tests, can also be used to demonstrate loss of control in flight and other unexpected phenomena.
This is the ideal aircraft to train TRI / TRE airline pilots and technical pilots.
